Your Best of Cozumel Highlights Excursion starts when you are greeted by your certified local guide and driver at our convenient meeting location. From there you head into downtown Cozumel where you will enjoy a sightseeing tour of the city, the neighborhoods and outskirts. Your experienced, bi-lingual guide will give you a brief history of Cozumel, its facts and curiosities, before you drive the "transversal" road that leads to the "other" side of Cozumel island.
Along the way, make a stop for a Tequila Tour and see how this world famous Mexican liquor is grown, harvested, processed and bottled in its original form. You will be offered free samples of tequila such as the Blanco, Reposado and Añejo. After the tequila tour, you will have the opportunity to purchase bottles to take with you.
Continue past San Gervasio Mayan Ruins to the east side, the uninhabited "virgin" part of Cozumel with miles of coast line, with interesting rock formations, white sandy beaches and the wild open turquoise ocean...some of the photo opportunities in Cozumel, Mexico. This was the first settlement on the island and an ancient Maya post where you still see remains of a Mayan ruin and the first church of Cozumel.
