This Private San Gervasio Mayan Ruins and Beach Excursion in Cozumel combines two of the main highlights of a visit to the island - a visit to Mayan ruins and Caribbean beach time all from the comforts of your private transportation!

Your driver/guide will pick you up outside your cruise terminal for the start of your own private, air conditioned tour of the island. Your first stop will be a guided tour of San Gervasio Archaeological Zone, the largest of the Mayan Ruins of Cozumel. The ruins represent an important part of the island’s past. Located in the center of the island, the ruins were once a hub of worship to the goddess IxChel, the Mayan goddess of midwifery and fertility. It was considered a must for every Mayan female to make a trip to Cozumel to pay homage to IxChel at least once in their lifetime.

Your guide will take you around, explain the site and various structures along with more about the Mayan culture. There are a lot of photo opportunities at San Gervasio including the iguanas sunning themselves on the rocks of the ruins.

After the stop at the ruins, your private driver will take you to one of the best beach clubs on the island, the choice is yours. Now it is time for relaxing, sun tanning, swimming, eating, drinking and more. Depending on which beach club you would like to stop at, there may be an additional entrance fee or charge that is not included. You may purchase food or drinks and use the facilities for the remainder of the time you have at the beach club. The driver will take you back to your cruise ship pier at the end of your stay.

• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
• Your ship skips/misses the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator or guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
• Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
